One piece of baby clothing that every baby wears is the “diaper”. Baby clothes come s in all kinds of styles and diaper covers do too.
There is nothing pretty about a diaper. It serves it’s purpose, but that’s about all you can say for them. It doesn’t matter if they are the throw away kind or the washable cloth, they are all just diapers. Never fear, there is a solution for this. It’s called the “diaper cover” and they come in all kinds of styling. Many can be personalized. For little girls, you always think of ruffles and you can find diaper covers with ruffles. So, cover up those diapers.
It’s football season–the little leagues, high school, college, and the pros. We have the perfect clothes for baby to wear when he makes his appearance at one of these games. Baby clothes come in football uniforms too, well kind of. The may not be the kind that the big players wear, but baby will be dressed in style.
Across the country the weather will vary, but our baby clothes will offer different styles for the different climates. Many are add a piece or take off a piece of clothing. This type of outfits make it easy to go from day time (warm) to evening (cooler) and that are cotton. Easy and comfy to wear.
I know that it is still September and fall isn’t even here in many parts of the country. But, people selling baby clothes are telling us that the holidays are just around the corner and they will probably be here before we are ready for them.
Today so many people shop year around for holiday gifts, That I guess that the stores need to get these special items out and on the shelves. I know when I pass by a cute holiday dress, or other holiday baby clothes, I think that little Amy or David just has to have it or he/she would be so sad. Of course, this isn’t true, because baby doesn’t care what it wears as long as he/she is comfortable and warm. It’s Mom or Grandma that can’t live without this special dress. After all, our baby or grand baby is so cute and precious, like no other. You know, when I think about this, it’s not really all wrong, because every baby is so very special and precious. So enjoy your looking and shopping for these very special baby clothes.
Our babies are so very precious to us and we want to be sure that everything that is around them is safe. Baby products must meet certain standards to be safe. Here we have a short guideline for a full size crib:
A full-size baby crib interior measures 52 inches long and 28 inches wide.
Adjustable rail top at its highest position must be at least 26 inches about the mattress support at its lowest position.
Adjustable rail top at its lowest position must be at least 9 inches about the top of the mattress support at its highest position.
Slats, spindles, corner post and rods cannot be more than 2 3/8 inches apart at any point.
Hardware must be designed and constructed that it does not pinch, bruise, crush, lacerate, break or amputate any part of a child’s body during normal use.
Locking devices for drop side rails must require two distinct actions or an minimum of 10 pounds of force for release.
Wood screws may not be used to connect parts.
All wood surfaces must be smooth.
End panels and sides, including any attachments, cannot have any horizontal bar.

The question has been around for a long time. It’s do we buy new or used? Sometimes it’s a very easy answer and then at other times we need to really think about this. One of these times is when a new baby is on the way. Baby clothes and any other baby products can really add to the budget.
Some of the things that I would want to buy new would be a mattress for baby’s bed, bottles and nipples, probably a car seat unless I knew where and how it was used, breast pumps and any other personal products. There are several big ticket items that can be purchased used and work out just fine. A baby bed, but check that it meets all the safety requirements. This is one item that you would not want to find out the hard way that is was not safe. There are guide lines that tell you what to look for. A high chair and stroller is probably a good used buy. And baby clothes. You can always wash these items and even get stains out and get good use of them. Baby blankets and bedding fall into the category. Keep baby warm and well fed and with lots of love they will do fine. They don’t know anything about “brand names” at this time in their life.
It’s not yet time for winter coats down here in Texas, but thank goodness we have seen the last of 100 degree days for this year. At least, I think we have. It is time to start thinking about what we want and need in the way of coats for babies along with the other baby clothes for this coming winter. I was watching a baseball game on TV the other night and everyone was all bundled up in coats. So the time is coming.
There are all kinds of coats out there for little girls and all kinds of prices. Remember, the baby will grow and probably won’t be able to wear the coat that you purchase this year next season. But it you want to spend over $100.00, that is your choice. When choosing a coat take into account of what part of the country you live. Like I said, here in Texas, we will need a coat, but yet not the kind that would be needed if we were living in Alaska. After saying this, we want a cute, pretty, comfy, and maybe washable coat for our baby girls. Yes, I said washable. All baby clothes should be washable. Maybe there is an occasion that you would want that special dress or outfit that you would not put into the washer, but not everyday baby clothing. There are so many coats to choose from that it hard to choose, but I think that we at Babies Only have come up with the right choices for your. Check it out at www.babiesonlyonline.com
You can fine many manufacturers of baby clothes. And you can also find all kinds of prices. Some of them are good and match the product in quality and some of them don’t.
One of the brand names that you may or may not know is Little Me. Maniye Brother, Inc.(established in 1947) is the parent company of Little Me. Some of the other brands by this company that you might recognize are Disney, flapdoodles, Guess Kids, and Nickelodeon. The Little Me brand has very moderate pricing and yet it is hgith in quality. Most all of their baby clothing is in 100% cotton knits and is great for year round wearing. You will get added value in that many of the outfits that Little Me has comes in more than one item. Like maybe a romper with a bib, or 2 sleepers, or dress with leggings. This helps, because many of the pieces can be worn with other fashions that you might already have. Little Me is up to date on the fashions and colors that you want. They use just about every color and not just pink and blue. There is nothing wrong with pink and blue. I think this color always says baby. Little Me also manufacturers fashions for the Preemie at a very moderate price. (Usually you will pay a higher price for the Preemie size.) Don’t let the latest heat wave fool you – autumn is closer than you think. The dog days of August will soon give way to those cool September mornings and afternoons, and your baby will need to be outfitted accordingly. Infants and toddlers grow at an alarming rate, so bear in mind that last year’s supply of cold-weather clothing might not cut it.
When looking for newborn clothes, keep an eye out for soft downy fabrics. Warmth and insulation are important, but so is the young child’s comfort. You’ll want to keep at least two sweatshirts stocked so that one can be laundered as the other is worn. If your child is still spitting up regularly, you might require even more spare clothes.
Now that the HOT August is over, we can look forward to fall. Fall brings cooler weather, but it also brings different dressing. Babies are no different. We are looking for something new, cute, and comfy for our fall baby clothes.
One of the new fashions at Babies Only is the knit hoodie set by Sweet Peanut. These hoodie jackets and pull-on style of pants are the perfect outfit for fall. There is a coordinating onesie that has the short sleeves. So you can put on or take off as the weather in the day changes. These little sets can be worn by either boys or girls, but the coordinating onesies are more boy than girl. This doesn’t mean that you can’t put a onesie that you already have or a new one that is more in line for a little girl. Check these out at www.babiesonlyonline.com. The jacket has a zipper and no hanging “things” that can harm the baby. They are 100% cotton knit, so this makes them very comfortable for baby. They come in Cherry, Chocolate, Green, and Midnight Blue.
Bamboo, the other organic fabrics. Bamboo is being used more and more in the manufacturing of baby clothes and baby products. Hooded towels is one of the newer bamboo products. Or maybe I should say that it is a product that is becoming more available.
Keep baby clean and comfortably dry in one of these bamboo hooded towel set from the company Scene Weaver’s baby line “Pickles. It a cute name, but they do provide quality products. Their bamboo hooded towel set come with one towel and 2 wash cloths in different color combinations. For the little girl, there is the hot pink with lime. For the little boy there is the blue (more of a turquoise blue) and lime. For the “we are going to let it be a surprise” people they have the yellow and lime colors. Which ever one you choose, you can’t go wrong with these towels and wash cloths. All the benefits of organic and pretty colors too.
